The latest from Hollywood is that Venom 2 starring Tom Hardy has got a new release date. It’s a sequel to Venom that will also feature Woody Harrelson in his pivotal role. As per the new update, the upcoming film’s release date has now been pushed back to September 17, 2021.

Most recently, the Andy Serkis’s movie was scheduled for release on June 25 this year. It all happened after the closure of theatres that forced the makers to abandon the original release of the film from October 2020.
As we mentioned earlier, Venom 2 will be directed by Andy Serkis and produced by Amy Pascal, Avi Arad, Matt Tolmach starring Tom Hardy, Woody Harrelson, Michelle Williams, Reid Scott and Naomie Harris in their respective pivotal roles. After the success of Venom (2018) that garnered a whopping USD 855 million globally, the makers decided to make its sequel for more fun and entertainment.
As of now, theatres are directed to re open in cities like New York and Los Angeles. This is why, most fans were already expecting that the sequel’s date is going to be extended in anytime soon. Some of them include F9 (Fast and Furious sequel) which has been pushed back to June 2021. Likewise, many other films are also decided to push back to a latter date.

One of them is ‘The Suicide Squad’ which is to be released on August 6. In the same way, Denis Villeneuve’s Dune’ remake will now be released on October 1.
For now, the makers have decided to organize a grand premiere of On September 17, ‘Venom: Let There Be Carnage’ on September 17 along side a murder mystery ‘Death on the Nile’ and ‘The Boss Baby: Family Business’ (animated film by Universal).
