Although, COVID-19 cases are constantly declining, it looks like there are some places where the country is still dealing with them.
There are loads of films that had to be postponed due to the pandemic. As per the current update, film shooting for OMG 2, starring Yami Gautam and Pankaj Tripathi has been halted due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
If reports published in a daily is to be believed, as many as 7 members of OMG 2 crew have been tested positive with the coronavirus. After one of the crew members of the film tested positive, producer Ashwin Varde ordered to halt the shooting of the film.
It resulted in the unit members to immediately go on home quarantine. In the meanwhile, other members continued to underwent their respective tests.
The shooting resumed again after the tests came negative. After the shooting was started, two more members started showing the symptoms.
It was soon realized that there is further requirement for the test to be done. The current situation is that as many as 6 people have been tested positive.
Out of the crew members, director Amit Rai along with Yami Gautam and Pankaj Tripathi are tested negative.
After the entire episode, the makers finally decided to postpone the shooting which is now expected to resume somewhere in the mid of October.
