Kim Kardashian has declared herself as a single parent in the latest divorce proceedings in court. Her marriage ended after a span of eight years after her marriage to Kanye West.
Steve Cochran who’s the Superior Court Judge of Los Angeles (LA) granted legal status to her. The judge listened to her and approved some procedures and dismissed some others.
It all happened when Kim Kardashian had to appear before the court through virtual meeting. She was put under oath so as to make a number of serious declarations that were required for the legal move.
This is what a judge said, “Mother, I’m going to ask you a series of questions now,” They included, “Did problems, disputes and differences cause a breakdown of your marriage?” and, “Is it your desire to become a single person?”
After Kim answered ‘yes’ to all that was asked from her, Cochran granted them.
Cochran rejoiced to know that the case proceedings are moving ahead after waiting for several months. This is what the judge told Kim, “We’ve made a lot of progress in here,” he said. In addition to this, he also finalized dropping Kanye West from from Kardashian’s name.
