In a recent interview, Sukriti Grover shed light on how she conceptualized Kriti Sanon’s looks for Teri Baaton Me Aisa Uljha Jiya.
With Sanon portraying a robot, it was crucial to maintain her charisma and charm, all while reflecting an urban vibe, as she transitions from America to India in the film.
To strike this balance, Grover chose clean, minimal silhouettes, ensuring Sanon’s robotic persona is evident, yet her allure remains. Throughout her wardrobe, there’s a deliberate fusion of urban and contemporary aesthetics.
When we asked about the challenges faced during the filming of Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya, Sukriti Grover disclosed that they initially didn’t encounter major hurdles.
However, the primary challenge arose in depicting Kriti’s character as a robot while ensuring she maintained an attractive, believable, and beautiful appearance.
Grover explained that numerous discussions with the creative team were necessary regarding Kriti’s looks, dresses, makeup, and hairstyles.
They conducted multiple look tests to strike a balance between Kriti’s portrayal as a visually appealing girl and her character as a robot. Maintaining this delicate balance between the two aspects of Kriti’s character proved to be the primary challenge throughout the styling process.
Sukriti Grover fondly recalled some delightful moments from the sets, especially during the shooting of the song ‘Akhiyan Gulab’ with Shahid and Kriti.
Set against the scenic backdrop of a beach, the shooting had a refreshing vibe, coupled with lively choreography that created a fun-filled atmosphere.
Additionally, Grover noted that the shoot for the title track was equally enjoyable, with its unique choreography adding to the excitement.
She emphasized that the creative processes behind these moments were filled with joy and camaraderie, making the overall experience on set truly memorable.
