The report reveals the release date has been postponed to January 2025 due to a disagreement over the final edit between the director and the production giant Warner Bros.
Bong Joon Ho, who’s known for his fantastic work for films including ‘Parasite’ has disclosed that ‘Mickey 17‘ happens to be one of the most sought sci-fi projects and has been completed latest by the end of November 2023.
But fans are getting tensed due to the film’s unexpected delay. In this regard, the makers have clarified that the delay has been mainly due to some creative disputes between Warner Bros. and the director.
Although the studio intends to produce a film in a “more accessible” format to audiences, Bong Joon Ho remains committed to his artistic integrity, advocating for his original vision to stay intact.
