PM Narendra Modi Hints Srinagar Theatres Going Jam-Packed Amid Pathaan’s Blockbuster Success

The box office in India is maintaining its pace with Deepika Padukone, John Abraham and Shah Rukh Khan starrer Pathaan performing well. Talking about the box office numbers, the film has surpassed many records.

In the recent past, Pathaan has become the 2nd highest grossing film in Indian cinema. The very fact that theatres in Srinagar looked bright after a long COVID crisis when they were shut.

And now, it looked astonishing when theatres in Srinagar were jam-packed for the first time, as right said by PM Narendra Modi.

The Siddharth Anand directorial has been going exceptionally well at the box office in Srinagar too. The film has managed to make a boom at the single screen theatres.

As per a plethora of reports, theatres in Srinagar were running houseful after many decades mainly due to the craze and excitement of SRK starrer film.

It all happened during his speech when PM Narendra Modi spoke in Parliament that there has been a drastic change in Jammu & Kashmir since the inception of his government.

This is what PM Narendra Modi said, “Srinagar ke andar dashko baad theatres houseful chal rahe hai (After decades, cinemas of Srinagar are running houseful).” Take a look at the viral snippet from the speech below:

 

Meanwhile, SRK’s espionage actioner ‘Pathaan’ seems to have topped the global box office century with the film’s collection climbing up to $103.6 million after Monday.

With the above figures, Pathaan has become the first Bollywood film to have earned $100 million without getting released in China.
