Sofia Vergara most recently held the final Golden Buzzer for Season 19 of America’s Got Talent, telling host Terry Crews that she wouldn’t be swayed into using it unless the right opportunity arose.
The very opportunity that actually arrived with highly eccentric performers from Japan, who present a unique comedy act that defies expectations.
The duo, also known as Schumacher, stated that both Yuya Shimada and “Ryu” Nakamura have been performing their class for the last decade or so, marking their all set debut performance in America.
It hardly took 2 minutes dor them to display their physical comedy that forced everyone to laugh at the lighter moment. “It was genius,” Simon Cowell said. “It was really funny. Whose idea was this?”

It was then Sofia’s turn to give her critique, and she appeared quite puzzled. She asked, “What is it? Is it a dance? A puppet? Or a quick change? I’m very confused. I thought it was ridiculous. It’s nonsense. I really don’t know what it is, but I think you deserve this,” before hitting her Golden Buzzer, her second and final one for the season.
Please note that America’s Got Talent airs at 8 p.m on Tuesdays, ET/PT on NBC and is also available the next day on Peacock.
