Julianne Moore is an Oscar winning actress. She has recently given her reviews when there is a discussion on ‘aging gracefully’. In fact, she has criticized the above though, especially when people apply it for women. She said that it is totally sexiest.
Moore believes that there is nothing by the term aging ungracefully. In fact, nobody can have any control over it. And so, it looks immaterial when anyone says ‘aging graceful’.
This is what the actress has to say, “There’s so much judgment inherent in the term ‘aging gracefully’. Is there an ungraceful way to age? We don’t have an option of course. No one has an option about aging, so it’s not a positive or a negative thing, it just is,” Moore said.
“Aging is part of the human condition, so why are we always talking about it as if it is something that we have control over?”, she added.
Julianne Moore further stated that she’s a big fan of Helen Mirren and follows her respectfully.
Recently, she took a quote in regards to what she thinks about the concept of aging. She says that aging happens to be the necessity of life.
Take a look at what she believes, “Aging is a requirement of life: You either grow old or die young.”
“We are given a narrative as children that we keep growing through school, maybe go to college then, after school is finished, the idea of growth is done”, the actress added.
She further says that we have to live our entire life and there is no way we should challenge ourselves in this regard. In order to gain interest about life, you need to constantly learn something new and refreshing.
In the same way, try to be more helpful to others as well. And this is what she further added.
Julianne Moore has now crossed the age of 60 years. And she is looking forward to reunite with the director Todd Haynes for the making of a film titled ‘May December’. The upcoming film features Natalie Portman.
