Just a few hours back, the CEO of Arrowhead shared on Twitter that Helldivers 2 had achieved sales of ‘around a million’, a remarkable feat within a mere three days of its release. Notably, on Steam, Helldivers 2 has secured the top spot in sales, surpassing well-known titles like Palworld, Enshrouded, and Counter-Strike 2.
Johan Pilestedt, the CEO, took a commendable stance to defend Sony when a user accused the company of being ‘a greedy corporation’ solely interested in achieving 10 million sales from Arrowhead.

Prior to the announcement of the milestone, Pilestedt mentioned that Helldivers 2 had reached a Concurrent Player Count (CCU) of approximately 220,000 users across both PlayStation 5 and PC platforms.
