George Clooney is currently navigating significant “marital concerns” with Amal Clooney as he focuses on his upcoming Broadway debut.
The “insecure” Hollywood actor, currently starring in the stage version of his 2005 Oscar-nominated film Good Night and Good Luck, is allegedly finding it difficult to cope with the increasing distance in his marriage.
“He’s been quite anxious about his marriage and questioning whether taking on this play was the best decision.
At first, he felt a bit ashamed for not managing even a month without her, but now he’s more concerned about the possible long-term effects on their relationship,” an insider told Radar Online.
Demanding Careers Put Amal & George Clooney’s Marriage to the Test
The celebrity couple’s demanding work schedules have allegedly caused a strain, with George feeling unsettled about their marriage. Reports suggest he has encouraged Amal to move to the U.S. with their seven-year-old twins, Ella and Alexander, while he completes his six-month Broadway engagement.
“This wasn’t part of the plan they had agreed on,” the source said. “Amal has a packed schedule, with most of her work being in Europe. She does miss George, but she’s frustrated about having to adjust her life to fit.”
“George is aware of her dissatisfaction. They’ve weathered tough moments in their marriage before, and he’s always been able to reassure her. He’s hoping this situation won’t be any different,” the source added.
Clooney is not only starring in the play but is also deeply involved with the writing team, while Amal stays busy with her responsibilities at Oxford University in the UK.

Divorce rumors began swirling around the Clooneys after their St. Tropez outing during their Christmas vacation. “They didn’t look happy at all,” a witness shared with New Idea.
Insiders have debunked the rumors, asserting, “Even in difficult times or while navigating the challenges of being apart, they stay firmly committed to their relationship.”
George discussed his family’s living situation in New York with Access Hollywood, saying, “They’re in New York,” and adding, “We’ve been here the entire time. You know, the typical things kids do apparently, schooling is mandatory, which surprised me. They’re in school.”
“My wife is enduring me practicing lines for a play all day long, so she probably knows it better than I do.”
