Salman Khan firmly believes that his forthcoming film, Sikandar, will achieve box office earnings exceeding Rs 200 crore, regardless of how it is received.
Salman Khan Assures the Success of Sikandar
On Sunday, during the trailer launch event in Mumbai, Salman discussed his hopes for the film, stating that he is certain it will perform well.
This is what he remarked, “Be it Eid, Diwali, New Year, or any festive season, it’s the audience’s support that counts. Whether the film is good or not, it still manages to surpass Rs 100 crore.”
Salman revised his statement, declaring that the film is set to cross Rs 200 crore, saying, “Rs 100 crore is an outdated milestone.”

Salman’s career is filled with a plethora of box office successes, with several films making it into the Rs 100 crore club. This streak began with the 2010 hit Dabangg, which was the first movie of his to cross the Rs 100 crore milestone. According to Sacnilk, the film grossed Rs 140.22 crore in India.
Some of the other films that crossed this benchmark include Tiger Zinda Hai (Rs 339.16 crore), Bajrangi Bhaijaan (Rs 320.34 crore), Race 3 (Rs 169.5 crore), Dabangg 3 (Rs 151.45 crore), Bodyguard (Rs 148.52 crore), Tubelight Rs 119.26 crore), Jai Ho (Rs 117.2 crore), and Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan (Rs 110.94 crore).
Sikandar Trailer Released
Salman, along with Rashmika and the rest of the film’s team, attended the Sikandar trailer launch event in Mumbai on Sunday. The trailer presented Salman in an iconic larger-than-life role.
The action-packed storyline focuses on his character’s quest to dismantle a criminal network in Mumbai, with Rashmika portraying his romantic interest.
AR Murugadoss, famous for directing hits like Ghajini, Thuppakki, Holiday: A Soldier Is Never Off Duty, and Sarkar, is at the helm of Salman’s Sikandar. The film, produced by Sajid Nadiadwala’s Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, is scheduled to release in theatres on Eid 2025.
