There is an update coming up regarding the hit film A Quiet Place sequel. The film originally starred John Krasinski and Emily Blunt in their lead roles. Nobody can forget how he film became almost a hit within a few hours of its release on March 9, 2018.
After the success of A Quiet Place, the makers for long are planning to release its sequel titled A Quiet Place 2 that was originally scheduled for release on September 17. But now, this horror flick will be releasing a few months before the scheduled date. The new release date of the film will be May 28, 2021. The decision taken by the Paramount Pictures to push the release date a few months ahead of its original release date is being appreciated by the fans and the audience at large.
By changing the release date, it has taken the spot that was previously occupied by the action thriller Infinite starring Mark Wahlberg. It was actually relocated to September 24.
Thanks to John Krasinski who reciprocated the great news after he took to his Twitter handle and shared the same. In his post, he wrote that good things are expected to come only to those who can wait longer. And this is what the audience is now going to have all the fun with A Quiet Place 2 releasing much earlier than it was originally scheduled. Well, this is not the first time that makers have moved the release date of Emily Blunt starring A Quiet Place Part II. It was earlier scheduled for a release in March 2020. But the plan was scrapped several times in the presence of COVID-19 pandemic.
This was the time when coronavirus had started spreading in the entire United States. Paramount Pictures had even conducted a red carpet premiere after they announced the release date of the film last year. But the entire plan had to be scrapped due to the pandemic. Krasinski has played a crucial role in the making of A Quiet Place Part II. He has both written and directed the sequel. It basically features most of the original casting artists including Millicent Simmonds, Noah Jupe and Blunt.
The star cast is also loaded with the names of some new members including Djimon Hounsou and Cillian Murphy.
As per the sequel, the surviving members of the family that include the names of Marcus (Noah Jupe), Regan (Millicent Simmonds), mother Evelyn (Emily Blunt) along with a new born baby have to live in silence to escape from the creatures that are known to hunt sound. As we mentioned in the beginning, A Quiet Place became an all time hit within a few hours of its release. The film also managed to win an Academy Award nomination in the category of best sound editing. It also managed to win a number of Critic’s Choice nominations.
The horror film went on to became a hit at the box office after grossing $340.9 million worldwide. Soon, the film managed to register its name among one of the biggest success stories for an original one.
