Jagame Thandhiram is an upcoming Tamil language action thriller directed by Karthik Subbaraj.
The film stars Dhanush in the lead role among others. As per the latest Bollywood news, the film is related is supposed release only in theatres. But now, there has been a confusion regarding this among the makers.
Apart from Dhanush, others who also star in the film include Joju George, Aishwarya Lekshmi and Hollywood star James Cosmo in their respective pivotal roles.

After it was decided that Jagame Thandhiram is to be released directly in theatres, there has been a speculation that it might get released online directly on various OTT platforms. Well, this is what the fans don’t want at any cost. They want to watch the film in theatres and so Dhanush.

In the recent past, there are a few reports emerging that speculate about the fall out between Dhanush and producers S. Sashikanth. The situation became so tense that Sashikanth has now unfollowed Dhanush not only on Twitter but also on Instagram.

Just like fans, Dhanush too like the film to get released directly in theatres. This is what the South star posted on his social media account, “I am hoping for the theatrical release of Jagame Thandiram like the theatre owners, exhibitors, distributors, cinema lovers and most of all my fans. Fingers crossed.” (sic).
Like many films, Jagame Thandiram had to be postponed due to Covid-19 pandemic. The action thriller was earlier planned to release on May 1, 2020. But the makers had no option but to postpone the entire project till the situation improves.
Currently, the entire crew of the film is working hard to release the film as soon as possible. On the other hand, fans are eagerly expecting it to release directly in theatres.
