Vijay Deverakonda who’s also recognized as Arjun Reddy fame was earlier reported to feature in a pan India film Liger.
But now, the actor is going to feature opposite Samantha Ruth Prabhu in his upcoming film ‘Khushi’ which will be released on December 23 worldwide.
As per the update, both the actors are collaborating for the first time to create an epic romantic comedy. It all happened on May 16 when the makers decided to unveil the poster of the upcoming film titled Khushi.
Khushi will be directed by Shiva Nirvana. While dropping the poster of the film, the makers also chose to reveal the release date of the film which will be December 23.
The first look poster of the film features Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Vijay Deverakonda in a vibrant look.
In the poster, Vijay Devarakonda looks appealing with his impeccable style while Samantha look in a quintessential ethnic avatar as both of their cloths are tied just like a nuptial knot.

While speaking on the occasion of unveiling the poster of the film, this is what the source said, “We wanted the poster to give out the vibe of Khushi which is going to be a really happy colorful Romance. What we also wanted to focus on was the sparkling chemistry between the lead pair, Vijay Deverakonda and Samantha.”
Besides Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Vijay Devarakonda, the film also features Srikanth Iyengar, Rahul Ramakrishna, Vennela Kishore, Ali Rohini, Lakshmi, Murali Sharma, Sachin Khedakar, Jayaram among others.
he film is both written and directed by Shiva Nirvana. It will be releasing in different languages like Malayalam, Kannada, Tamil and Telugu.
