James Cameron’s Avatar has become the highest grossing film of all time after beating the Russo brothers’ Avengers: Endgame.

The latest is that Avatar that was re-released in China this Friday (March 12, 2021) created a feat after adding another $12.3 million to its overall collection in the first 2 days. This has taken the film’s collection to US$ 2.82 billion.
Please note that Marvel’s Endgame (2019) garnered all the name and fame after it managed to overtake Cameron’s Titanic (1997) that constantly remained on the top slot for over a decade. Later Cameron took to his social media account and congratulated the entire Marvel team for accomplishing such an unforgettable task.
This is what he wrote, ‘Endgame’ took the first spot on the box office board in 2019 when it beat Cameron’s 1997 film ‘Titanic which held the top spot for over a decade with an estimated global collection of USD 2.194 billion. “An iceberg sank the real Titanic. It took The Avengers to sink my Titanic. Everyone here at Lightstorm Entertainment salutes your amazing achievement. While praising the achievement of the film, this is what the Russo brothers stated, “Passing the gauntlet back to you… @jamescameronofficial.”. Garnering praises from all sides, the official social media handle of Marvel posted a video clip, “Congratulations to James Cameron, Jon Landau, and ALL of Na’vi Nation for reclaiming the box office crown! We love you 3000,” the caption said.
