It was on Monday when he makers of Annabelle Sethupathi unleashed the trailer of their most awaited film trailer.
Annabelle Sethupathi is an upcoming horror comedy starring Vijay Sethupathi and Taapsee Pannu in their lead roles. The trailer of this film has been launched. The film is slated to release on September 17 on Disney+ Hotstar.
As per the makers, Mohanlal was to release the trailer in Malayalam, Suriya in Tamil and Venkatesh Daggubati in Telugu languages.
It will happen for the first time that both Taapsee Pannu and Vijay Sethupathi will share the screen space together in ‘Annabelle Sethupathi”. The film also marks the comeback of Pannu in Tamil cinema after a phase of 2 years.
The first poster of the film was shared by Vijay and Taapsee on August 26. It’s directed by Deepak Sundarrajan and produced by G Jayaram and Sudhan Sundaram under the banner of Passion Studios.
As per the schedule, the thriller will release in multiple languages like Kannada, Malayalam, Telugu, Tamil and Hindi. Apart from Taapsee and Vijay, the film also stars Rajendra Prasad, Radikaa Sarathkumar and Yogi Babu in their respective pivotal roles.
The film was earlier planned to release in theatres but the plan had to be postponed due to COVID-19 pandemic. It will now be released directly on the OTT platform.
