Amber Heard is already having trouble in her personal life with ex husband Johnny Depp.
The actress is now saying that the makers of ‘Aquaman’ sequel have intentionally cut back her role in the upcoming film.
She doubts that this was done mainly because she lied to abuse allegations against a legal fight with Depp.
But now, things look to be moving as the head of DC Films has come forward to respond to Amber Herd’s point.
On Tuesday, he clarified that her role in the big budget Hollywood flick has no way been cut short. And there is no link between her tumultuous marriage to her husband Johnny Depp.
Amber Heard’s Reduced Role In ‘Aquaman 2’ Unrelated to Johnny Depp: DC Films
It was Walter Hamada who finally came out in the middle and clarified the matter via a video link of their defamation trial that happened in Virginia.
Hamada happens to be the president of DC Films for the last four years. He alleged that Herd always intended to have given a smaller or short role in the ‘Aquaman 2’ film.
Hamada added further that in the first ‘Aquaman’ film, Heard had a lack of chemistry with her co-star Jason Momoa. And this made producers to take a decision and considered to recast her in the sequel.
“I think editorially they were able to make that relationship work in the first movie,” But there was a concern that it took a lot of effort to get there and that would we be better off finding someone with more natural chemistry with Jason Momoa and move forward that way.” Hamada concluded.
