In this biopic directed by Karan Singh Tyagi, Akshay Kumar assumes the lead role as Nair. Notably, Nair bravely challenged the British empire in a case concerning the Jallianwala Bagh massacre.
According to a source closely associated with the project, “Akshay Kumar and Ananya Panday portray legal professionals. Akshay embodies a seasoned and esteemed lawyer, while Ananya depicts a newcomer seeking guidance from Akshay. Their dynamic revolves purely around professional mentorship, devoid of any romantic involvement.”
Akshay’s most recent appearance was in Tinu Suresh Desai’s “Mission Raniganj: The Great Bharat Rescue,” premiering in October. The movie centered around the extraordinary endeavors of Jaswant Singh Gill, who valiantly rescued numerous miners trapped in a flooded mine in Raniganj back in 1989.
Akshay portrayed Gill in the film, alongside co-stars Parineeti Chopra, Kumud Mishra, Pavan Malhotra, and others. Recently, the movie commenced streaming on Netflix.
