It’s been more than 2 weeks since Ajay Devgn starrer Drishyam 2 released. The film also stars Shriya Sara, Tabu, and Akshaye Khanna in their respective pivotal roles.
The report regarding Drishyam 2 box office suggests that it’s growing with each passing day and has been performing well on box office globally.
The film has been keeping its hold in spite of the recent release of Kriti Sanon and Varun Dhawan starrer Bhediya. Out of these two films premiering, the first choice of the audience is none other than Drishyam 2.
Drishyam 2 Box Office: The Crime Thriller Becomes Ajay Devgn’s Highest 2nd Week Grosser
The present document will compare Drishyam 2 with Ajay Devgn’s previous releases. As far as this film goes, it has collected a whopping Rs. 58.82 cr over its 2nd week.
The reason being that Drishyam 2 is getting a good word of mouth ever since it was released in theatres. This actually helped the action thriller to emerge as Ajay Devgn’s 2nd highest all-time second week grosser.
If you look at Devgn’s previous release Tanhaji – The Unsung Warrior, it collected Rs 78.54 cr in the 2nd week and became the 2nd highest grosser.
While Drishyam 2 has also performed well and has even managed to surpass some other releases of he actor like Golmaal Again that collected Rs. 38.05 cr.
In the same way, some other films of the actor made impressive collections like Shivaay (Rs. 22.99 cr), De De Pyaar De (Rs. 23.44 cr), Raid (Rs. 27.06 cr), Gangubai Kathiawadi (Rs. 36.33 cr).
Currently, Drishyam 2 continues to perform well at the box office. After the end of two weeks, the film has managed to collect Rs. 163.48 cr till date and looks like it will surpass the Rs 200 cr mark at least by the end of third week.
