Rappers Travis Scott & Drake Sued For Causing ‘Crowd Mayhem’ During Astroworld Festival

Rappers Travis Scott and Drake have been sued for causing an unfortunate incident that caused many lives and injured others during former’s Astroworld Festival.

 

It all happened during Travis Scott’s Astroworld Festival at Houston, Texas when a massive crowd surge left 8 people dead and many injured.

The incident happened on Friday night when Scott was performing live. Report says over 300 people injured during the unfortunate incident that was finally cancelled on Saturday.

The latest in this case is that both Travis and Drake have been sued for over $1 million mainly for causing ‘crowd mayhem’.

Kristian Paredes, 23 is the one who complained the above incident. He’s the one who was severely injured on the night of November 5. Paredes says that he finds them responsible as both Travis and Scott continued to perform ‘as the crowd became out of control’.

He also blamed Travis Scott nd Drake for negligently inciting “a riot and violence,” As per lawsuit, ”Many begged security guards hired by Live Nation Entertainment for help, but were ignored.”

 

 

He further charges, “As Drake came onstage alongside Travis Scott he helped incite the crowd even though he knew of Travis Scott’s prior conduct,” Now, this is the first lawsuit to be filed after the incident happened.

In the recent statement released by Scott that says, “I’m absolutely devastated by what took place last night. My prayers go out to the families and all those impacted by what happened at the Astroworld Festival.”

“Houston PD has my total support as they continue to look into the tragic loss of life. I am committed to working together with the Houston community to heal and support the families in need.” Scott added.

Now, as per Houston Chronicle via Variety, over 50,000 people attuned the concert on that day. It’s reported that Travis’ girlfriend Kylie Jenner was also present in the concert along with her sister Kendall Jenner.
