Ever since Russia attacked Ukraine, the country has been getting all the support from several countries.
Amid such a crisis, Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky is also getting huge praise and support due to Russian invasion. At this time, he fights to defend his country by taking his citizens along with him.
At present, the Internet is already on the move and people seem interested for a film depicting the president of Ukraine who actually turned politician from a comedian.
In order to make this possible, the makers are currently rooting for ‘Avengers’ star Jeremy Renner to play the lead role in the film.
This is what a fan said while sharing a picture of Jeremy Renner from his war film ‘The Hurt Locker, “You just know Hollywood is scrambling to put together a movie starring Jeremy Renner as Zelenskyy,” he said.
Another user asked on Twitter, “Is it obvious to everybody else that Jeremy Renner is the only logical option to play Zelenskyy in the biopic screenwriters are almost certainly drafting already?” he shared two images of the two men.

Although, some of them want to have a movie featuring the Avenger star, there are mostly others who expressed their feeling of disgust as Ukraine is currently in the mid of crisis.
This is what a Twitter user wrote, “Americans fan casting Jeremy Renner as Ukraine’s president for Hollywood to capitalize off of war. Honestly isn’t unsurprising. Literally some of the most ignorant insensitive people in the world,” he wrote.

“That’s the most pathetic and tasteless thing you could possibly be thinking about right now,” Another user added in a much fiery post.
Do you know that present Ukraine president Volodymyr Zelenskyy is himself a former actor and comedian who decided to join politics in 2019. He rose to fame from one of his most popular Ukrainian TV comedians who actually played the role of a president in the show ‘Servant of The People’.
Keeping the above facts in mind, most Twitter users are of the opinion that he could better play himself and didn’t need an actor to replace him in a future film.
On the other hand, Renner has still not reacted over the Twitter reactions. He’s seen helping people struck in Ukraine in his own ways. For example, he urged people to donate in the crisis to help suffering of people.
As per the latest update, actor and filmmaker Sean Penn is currently in Ukraine to make a documentary regarding the ongoing Russian invasion.
He’s not there for the first time. In fact, he was there previosly in the month of November to work on the project which is known to be produced by VICE Studios.
He’s the Oscar winner who is credited to have been involved in several antiwar efforts and international humanitarian works in the past.
