Astroworld Festival on Friday witnessed a sudden surge of the mob that lead to the causalities of as many as 8 people and injured many others.
It was on Friday when Travis Scott was performing and suddenly, it lead to a sudden rush of crowd entering the venue. It was 9 PM when this happened during Astroworld festival. The tragic incident happened in Texas. The show was later called off, especially when so many people lost their lives and many other injured.
Samuel Pena, who’s the fire chief at Houston chose to speak about the incident that happened outside NRG Park chose to speak, “That caused some panic and it started causing some injuries, people began to fall out, become unconscious and it created additional panic, We had at least eight confirmed fatalities tonight and scores of individuals that were injured, We transported 17 patients to the hospital. 11 of those that were transported were in cardiac arrest,” he stated.

The Astroworld festival attracted as many as 50,000 people. As per the sources, the causalities were mainly caused due to trampling. Not only that, the show’s trampling were seen to perform CPR on unconscious attendees.

When the incident happened, Travis Scott was at the stage performing live in front of such a huge crowd.
He immediately stopped after looking at such an incident happened in front of his eyes. After the incident happened, as many as 300 people received the immediate medical treatment at a medical facility located at the venue.

The Astroworld Festival organized by Scott is actually a 2 day affair that goes with music along with carnival rides and games. Others who were present at the concert were his girlfriend Kylie Jenner and Kendall Jenner.
After the incident, the second night on (November 6) had to be called off.
Please note that Astroworld is basically a music concert organized by Travis Scott.
It was first launched in 2018 and was the same year when he had launched his studio album by the same name.
