The second wave of coronavirus has not only devastated the entire nation but has also taken away the precious lives of hundreds of families.

In the current pandemic situation, it seems India has fallen prey to the coronavirus as hundreds of people have lost their lives in the last few months.

Talking about the entertainment world, many celebrities have lost their lives, especially due to the second wave of coronavirus.

Although, vaccine is available, it should not be called a perfect remedy to get protected from the infection. Those who are still not taking it seriously are getting the infection sooner or later.

If you look at some of the Indian celebrities who recently got infected due to Covid-19 include the names of Alia Bhatt, Aamir Khan, Akshay Kumar, Ranbir Kapoor and many others. In this post, we are giving names of some of them who succumbed to the infection of this deadly mutant virus.

Rohit Sardana

Rohit Sardana was a well known journalist who worked with Aaj Tak channel. He was fallen prey to the second wave of coronavirus and died after having a cardiac arrest soon after testing positive for Covid-19.

He was finally admitted to ICU after his situation started becoming tensed. He was last seen asking to help patients on Twitter. He was an active media personality who’s no longer with us.

Satish Kaul

Satish Kaul is better known to have played the role of Lord Indra on B.R Chopra’s serial Mahabharat lost his life due to Covid-19.

He’s known to have worked in a plethora of Hindi and Punjabi movies. Some of his memorable films include Aunty No 1 and Pyaar Toh Hona Hi Tha.

He was also featured in TV shows Vikram Aur Betaal. He passed away on April 10 after getting infected with Covid-19.

 

Bikramjeet Kanwarpal

Bikramjeet Kanwarpal is known to have worked for many television shows He has also worked in some memorable Hindi films including The Ghazi Attack, Murder 2, Aarakshan, Rocket Singh: Salesman of the Year, Hate Story, Page 3, 2 States and more. He passed away on May 2, 2021.

Shravan Rathod

Shravan Rathod is better regarded as the a great music composer who worked along with Nadeem and make the popular brand of producing or composing music for Bollywood.

The duo gave hundreds of successful music appreciated even today. Some of the hit music given by them include films like Raja Hindustani, Pardes, Sajan, Aashiqui and many more.

He developed serious complications due to COVID-19 and passed away on April 20, 2021. As per an update, he recently visited Kumbh Mela in spite of the denial from the family members.

 

Pandit Rajan Mishra

Pandit Rajan Mishra was one of the most popular classical vocalist. He died because of the complications developed due to Covid-19. He passed away on April 25, 2021.

Although, he was administered the first vaccine designed to combat infection, he suffered a heart attack around 10-15 days ago.

And after some days, he suffered yet another one due to which his condition deteriorated and finally scumbled to coronavirus.

 

Dadi Chandro Tomar

Dadi Chandro Tomar is also known as Shooter Dadi. The recently released film Sand Ki Aankh was actually made after inspiring her character one.

In her daring life, she had to pick up gun several times. But she picked up gun for the first time in her life only when she was in her 60s. Finally, she said goodbye to all after arising complications due to Covid-19 on April 26, 2021.

Jagdish Lad

Jagdish Lad was an international body builder and Mr. India fame. He is among those who was fallen prey to the complications raised due to Covid-19.

It’s being said that he started having some breathing difficulties after contacting coronavirus.

 

Kanupriya

Kanupriya was an eminent actress and TV anchor who appeared in various television shows like Meri Kahani, Kahi Aek Gaon, Ananro, Bhanwar. She also appeared in some hosted shows like Brahma Kumaris.

She also died because of the complications raised due to the second wave of the coronavirus. She started her journey from Doordarshan anchor and then moved ahead in her career towards acting.

 

Naveen

Naveen is one of the renowned Kannada filmmakers who lost all of us at the age of 36. When he was tested positive for coronavirus, he was at his hometown Madhya Pradesh (MP).

In the later part of his career, Naveen made his debut as a director in 2011 with Oneday.

Thamira

Thamira was a popular Tamil film director who also fallen prey to the Covid-19 complications at 53. He was residing at his hometown in Chennai. He passed away on after suffering a cardiac arrest on April 27, 2021

The 2nd wave of coronavirus is giving a tough time to the people of India as lakhs of people have lost their lives after developing complications due to Covid-19.
