Amid lockdown everything looks dim and unconfirmed. But now, fans can have a sigh of relief after Tamil Nadu (TN) government has decided to re open cinema halls.
In spite of the above decision taken by the state government, many film producers and makers are looking forward to see how it all goes. In short, they are not yet ready to spill the beans.
One of them is the makers of Vijay starrer Master which is scheduled to release on Diwali (November 14, 2020). Master is directed by Lokesh Kanakaraj and produced by Xavier Britto.
So far, Vijay’s starrer film has seen so many delays. Initially, the film started getting all sorts of trouble due to lockdown. And now, when the makers had decided to release the film on the occasion of Diwali, it still looks uncertain whether it will be released on time.
As per the sources close to the industry, the makers of Master have now decided to implement the wait and watch situation for now.
They actually want to see the reaction of movie goers right after the cinema halls open on November 10 (as per the direction from the TN government).
This might be looking disheartening to all the fans out there but the makers don’t want to release the film in a hurry.
For now, the entire crew of Master want to be optimistic and analyze the situation before releasing the film on the scheduled date.
There are rumors that say Master will now release on the occasion of Pongal 2021.
The film stars Vijay Sethupathi and Vijay playing the role of a villain and hero respectively. On the other hand, Malavika Mohanan plays the role of a female lead in the film.
Earlier, Lokesh had released a special poster of the film on the occasion of her birthday.
As per an update Malavika is going to play the role of a professor. Andrea Jeremiah will also be one of the female leads in the film.
The music in Master is composed by Anirudh. For now, fans are waiting for the final call from makers to announce the fresh date of the film (if it gets postponed).
