By looking at the Veere Di Wedding box office collection day 3, trade expert Girish Johar has given some inputs according to which it will soon mint Rs 35 crore in the opening weekend.
The movie is not only being praised by the Indian audiences but also by the offshore audiences as well. And this is what we received inputs from another trade expert Taran Adarsh.
In one of his tweets “The kind of feeling that this Bollywood flick is giving is way different than it was expected. As per the ongoing myth, these types of films don’t work offshore. But Veere Di Wedding has almost shattered all the earlier myths.”
As you can see that the newly released movie continues to excel at the box office and even breezes into one of the top 10 charts of countries like New Zealand, UK and Australia.
A number of film critics also came forward to present their views. One such film critic Shubhra Gupta remarked “I don’t think that the name of the film is being flipped around. The film already having some big star casts is doing good enough so far. Veere Di Wedding is facing stiff competition with some other Bollywood flicks like Raazi. Along with that, it is expected that Bhavesh Joshi Superhero is likely to perform smoothly at the box office.
The film has already been released to almost 2180 screens across the country. The film has already garnered close to Rs 23 crore in the initial first two days of its release. Well, it looks like the movie has achieved a really great feat, especially for a film where women are leading the entire star cast.
But the debate is still going on to decide if the film’s success is only due to the presence of some big industry names including Sonam Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor.
It somewhat managed to put off some weight from the shoulders of both Sonam and Kareena Kapoor as their sister Rhea Kapoor is producing the film.
