In his reply, Tom Hanks not only expressed his dissatisfaction but also clarified that he has nothing to do with the promotional campaign or video.

Tom Hanks Warns Fans About His AI Version Promoting Dental Version
Hollywood veteran Tom Hanks warned fans regarding a dental plan ad that was using an AI version of him.
In his reply, he took to Instagram and clarified his followers that he has nothing to do with the ad.
This is what Tom Hanks wrote, “Beware!! There’s a video out there promoting some dental plan with an AI version of me. I have nothing to do with it,” he wrote while sharing the screenshot of the computer generated image from the video clip.
Hanks has stated many times in the past about the increasing use of deepfake technology and artificial intelligence in the creative industries while shooting for an episode of artificial intelligence
This is what Tom Hanks stated, “I could be hit by a bus tomorrow, and that’s it, but performances can go on and on. And outside of the understanding that it’s been done with AI or deepfake, there’ll be nothing to tell you that it’s not me and me alone. It’s going to have some degree of lifelike quality. That’s certain an artistic challenge, but also a legal one.” he said.
