Thor: Love And Thunder released on July 7, 2022 and was accepted by the Indian audience with a smile.
Nobody would have expected the film to make such a business in the Indian market. But this has become true.
The latest Thor: Love And Thunder box office collection report says that the film has managed to collect $15.7 million in the overseas market.
The Christian Bale and Chris Hemsworth was released in 17 international markets which opened in a few more markets yesterday. Today, the film opened in the domestic markets of the US and Canada and is expected to open in some more international circuits.
According to a report published in Deadline, Thor: Love And Thunder has opened in as many as 17 international territories including countries like Germany, Italy, Australia and Korea.
As you see, the film has already grabbed $15.7 million gross which comes out to be Rs 124.40 crore. The amount is 39% more than its prequel. But the collection is almost 20% shorter than the collection of Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness.
As weekend is progressing fast, the weekend numbers for the film is somewhere around $380-400 million during the opening weekend across the globe.
Although, the film is progressing well, it will be interesting to check how it fares in the mixed word of mouth scenario.
In the meanwhile, Chris Hemsworth has recently shared that baring it all in the film and showing off his dream come true, “It was 10 years in the making that scene, kind of a dream of mine,” this is what he told to Variety.
Thor: Love And Thunder is directed by Taika Waititi starring Russell Crowe, Tessa Thompson, and Natalie Portman in their lead roles.
