South Korean Star Park Seo Joon is all set to commence shooting for Captain Marvel 2 titled The Marvels. He’s known to have worked in some Korean drama like Itaewon and What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim. And now, he’s all set to join MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe).
Park Seo Joon will soon join the cast of Brie Larson starrer Captain Marvel 2, titled The Marvels. The latest is that he has left for Los Angeles to shoot for the upcoming film. It was later confirmed by his studio.
It was on September 3 when Park Seo Joon was spotted leaving for Los Angeles to shoot for the MCU film. He was spotted leaving Seoul’s Incheon international airport.
Later, his agency named Awesome ENT released a statement that stated, “It’s true that Park Seo Joon departed for Los Angeles earlier this afternoon after confirming his casting in the new Marvel Studios film. First, we would like to sincerely thank those of you who have shown great interest in Park Seo Joon’s new challenge. We know very well that you are all very curious about what production he will star in, what his character will be, where he will film, for how long, and more. However, we will not publicize more specific details until a later time. We now ask that you cheer on Park Seo Joon so that he can wrap up his filming successfully and return safely.”
Park Seo Joon is now counted the 3rd South Korean actor to join the star cast of any MCU film. Earlier two include Ma Dong Seok and Claudia Kim.
The film is to be directed by Nia DaCosta as Brie Larson (Captain Marvel) who will be joined by Iman Vellani (Kamala Khan) and Teyonah Parris (Monica Rambeau. The film is set to release on November 11, 2022.
Park Seo Joon is currently working for his next film titled Dream. It will star a famous actress and musician IU. He’s got the international fame for his spectacular performance in some drams like She Was Pretty, Hwarang: The Poet Warrior, Fight For My Way, Itaewon Class, What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim and more.
In the recent past, he became one of the highest paid actors in South Korean film industry.
