Scarlett Johansson Opens Up about Her Pandemic Wedding to Colin Jost

Hollywood actress Scarlett Johansson has recently tied the knot with the ‘Avengers: Endgame’ star Colin Jost. The actress has now opened up about her pandemic wedding.

In an interview given to a magazine, she stated that her wedding to Jost was, “how it was supposed to be, minus the face masks.” While Jost described the wedding to be an intimate affair that happened on the occasion of a virtual appearance during an event.

It was in October last year when Johansson tied the nuptial knot with Jost. The wedding ceremony happened at the actress’s place at Palisades, New York. At that time, she had said that weddings at such a pandemic time was a bit stressful.

This is what she had said in the interview, “Obviously we wanted to take all the precautions that we could, so we had the masks … and everybody had to get COVID tests like 100,000 times,” she said.

Johansson later said the guests who were invited were wearing face masks written “Jost 2020” on them. “I mean, it’s just weird. Looking back at the photos … it definitely was a weird party favor that could only happen now, but you just gotta go with it.”

All those guests who accompanied the wedding ceremony fortunately enjoyed as they expected. Only reason why she was worried because of the family members of Jost who are all in their 90’s as they could be at risk of developing COVID-19. But everything happened nicely in the end without any issues.

Johansson further stated, “Even though it was small and intimate, it was beautiful and we were so happy to see people that we hadn’t seen in such a long time. We just felt very fortunate to be able to get together like that. It felt like it was sort of how it was supposed to be, minus face masks.”

Before getting married with Jost, Johansson dated him for over 2 years. They were finally engaged in May 2019.

Their wedding took a special curve after the couple wanted to involve a charity and announced their wedding on Instagram. It was actually for a hunger fighting organization that the couple had long supported.

Although, Johansson has been married twice, it’s the first wedding for Jost.

The actress previously married to the Ryan Reynolds but their marriage could last for only two years. After that she tied the knot with Romain Dauriac that lasted for 3 years. She even has a daughter from this marriage.
