Today, the dark side of Bollywood is getting exposed by the industry insiders. This happened right after Sushant Singh Rajput Suicide on June 14, 2020.
The way Sushant had to end his life by hanging from the ceiling fan at his Bandra residence speaks a lot about the exploitation of outsiders (having no godfather) who join the industry to make their career.

After many big celebrities started exposing the Mafia Raj in Bollywood, Sonu Nigam also joined the bandwagon.

Later in his video, he revealed that music industry is no different than Bollywood exploiting outsiders in the same manner.

Singer Monali Thakur was the first to come in support of Sonu. And now, another great singer Salim Merchant has come in support of the singer and said whatever has said is the truth”.
As per a report published in Hindustan Times, Salim clears the air about all the unlawful things happening in the music industry. This is what he said, “It is not just the singers the composers are also going through a tough time. The record label he is talking about has certain music directors and singers they work with. There are certain artistes they have signed. “There are lot of composers like me, who don’t want to do just one song in the film. But there are others who are comfortable with the record labels terms and conditions and are okay to compose just one song in the film. Sonu Nigam has not said anything wrong. Whatever he has said is the truth. There are singers who get called and they get dumped later on. There are so many directors who want to work with composers like ourselves, but when it reaches the record labels, they have their own conditions and they feel they cannot work with us,” he mentioned further while talking about Sonu Nigam.
