In the podcast, Nawazuddin was bombarded with queries like if the country has found its Irrfan Khan, he had a different take on that. This is what he had to say regarding such comparision, “Bollywood has given many great actors. And we should not always consider what the West is asking us to validate.
There are a lot of great films being made here and there. We have some great actors who have contributed a lot to the Indian cinema like Irrfan Bhai, Om Puri saab, Manoj bhai, Naseer saab.”
Although, Nawazuddin Siddiqui is a talented actor who has already proven his worth in Indian cinema. One reason what makes him great is the kind of roles that he intends to select.
It simply means that he knows what roles would best suit him. He’s not the one who is dying to work in every film he’s offered. To be precise, Nawazuddin prefers to pick only meaningful roles.
Now, talking about his professional front, Nawazuddin has some projects lined up including Thama and Raat Akeli Hai 2.
