Malala Yousafzai who’s a Nobel laureate is receiving huge applauds for her response to Jimmy Kimmel’s query regarding the 95th Academy Awards ceremony.
Yousafzai is a well known Pakistani activist who managed to survived a bullet from Taliban in October 2012.
She’s a renowned activist who represent girl’s education and chose to attend the ceremony as an executive producer of ‘Stranger at the Gate’, which was nominated for the Documentary Short Film honour.

It all happened during the ceremony when the host Jimmy Kimmel approached her and asked a query on behalf of Joanne.
The query was actually from the singer which was regarding the Hollywood actor Chris Pine and singer Harry Styles ‘spit-gate’ incident that actually happened at the 2022 Cannes Film Festival.
This is what the host asked, “Your work on human rights and education for women and children is an inspiration. As the youngest Nobel prize winner in history, do you think Harry Styles spit on Chris Pine?” he said.
To this Yousafzai replied, “I only talk about peace”.

Kimmel again asked her, “You know what? That’s why you’re Malala and nobody else is. That’s a great answer, Malala. The winner is malala-land, everybody.”
It was then Malala Yousafzai shared the entire incident on her Twitter handle. This is what she worded the video, “Treat people with kindness,” she wrote. After the incident, many didn’t take time to criticize Kimmel.
A user tweeted, “Why the hell did jimmy kimmel go up to malala, make that corny a** chris pine and harry styles joke and then call her malala land?? what is wrong with this man #oscars (sic)” tweeted a user.
Another one wrote, “The Oscar’s was lowkey boring. Somebody shoulda smacked Jimmy Kimmel for his corny a** slap jokes and asking Malala dumb a** questions (sic).”
Yousafzai chose to go for a floor-length silver-sequinned gown along with a incorporated head scarf. She also wore an emerald flower ring from Santi Jewels.
Kimmel who not only had to face criticism from American but also from Indian fans after he called artists performing on the Oscar-nominated Telugu track ‘Naatu Naatu‘ as ‘Bollywood dancers’.
