Vasanthabalan is a well known Tamil film director and screen writer. He’s famous for making some memorable films in the past including Kaaviya Thalaivan (2014), Angadi Theru (2010) and Veyil (2006).
Before becoming a successful film director, Vasanthabalan worked as an Assistant director in his debut film Gentleman (1993).
This was the time when he continued to work with Shankar in some of the films like Jeans (1998), Indian (1996) and Kaadhalan (1994).
Vasanthabalan later garnered appreciation for making a period drama titled Kaaviya Thalaivan (2014). Currently, the ace director is known to remake the 2019 released film titled ‘The Lift Boy’.
As per the latest buzz, Arjun Das will be playing the lead role in this film. As of now, the pre production of this film is already underway and the makers are taking time to decide the supporting actors.
As per the sources, it has come to the surface that Vasanthabalan is going busy with his film Jail starring Aparnathi and GV Prakash Kumar in their pivotal roles. The producers have also released a few tracks of this film that are garnering all the praise from the audience.
At this time, the post production work of Jail is towards the completion and the film is ready to hit the big screen anytime soon.
