Hugh Jackman has hinted that he will be seen in all the action in his upcoming marvel film. And so, he looks keen to make his comeback as Wolverine in the upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU)!
Right after the actor speculated about his comeback, fans who simply loved the clawed X-Men character looked desperate on social media to discuss Jackman’s possible return on the silver screen.
It all happened when Jackman posted two images on his Instagram stories about his possible return in the upcoming MCU film.
In one of the stories that the actor shared on his Instagram stories, it was basically the fan art of the Wolverine by BossLogic. This picture soon followed with another one where he can be seen posing with Kevin Feige, who’s the president of Marvel Studios.

In the recent past, Disney has purchased 20th Century Fox to beg the rights of making the franchises like ‘Fantastic Four’ and ‘X-Men’. Since ‘Fantastic Four’ happens to be an indispensable part of the Marvel’s Phase 4 release movies, there is no update of the return of another franchise ‘X-Men’.
As per the inputs from various sources, a number of online web portals have confirmed that Jackman may reprise his role as Wolverine, but not in Marvels film. He can be a part of the Avenger’s film though.
This is what JustJared.com reported on all the speculation, “Every time I saw an Avengers movie, I could just see Wolverine in the middle of all of them like punching them all on the head. But it was like, ‘Oh well, that’s not gonna happen,’”
Other than what we have mentioned here, the actor also went on to say that he was quite eager to see another actor playing the role of Wolverine. The reason why he may have said this is because of the fact that starring in an MCU film was long gone for him.
Even if he returns back in the character of the clawed mutant, he will be breaking his own record of playing the longest ever Marvel action superhero.
To be precise, Hugh Jackman has played the character of Wolverine for more than 16 years. Well, it’s a record that he preferably shares with none other than Sir Patrick Stewart, who had once played the role of Professor Charles Xavier for almost the same number of years.
