Housefull 5 box office collection day 3: Housefull 5 starring Akshay Kumar, Abhishek Bachchan, and Riteish Deshmukh performs strongly
With a strong debut, Tarun Mansukhani’s comedy whodunnit continues its winning streak at the box office. According to Sacnilk, Akshay Kumar’s movie earned ₹87 crore on its opening Sunday.
Housefull 5’s box office performance
Akshay Kumar’s film saw an impressive ₹24 crore collection on opening day, as reported by trade sources, exceeding the Day 1 figures of the earlier franchise film and recent Akshay releases like Sky Force and Kesari Chapter 2.
Day two witnessed a rise in collections to ₹31 crore, making the domestic total ₹55 crore.
The movie sustained its strong run on its third day, the first Sunday, collecting ₹32 crore and increasing the domestic tally to ₹87 crore. If the trend persists, it is expected to cross ₹100 crore by Monday.
With the killer mask from Housefull 5 on, Akshay Kumar stood outside the theatre and mic in hand, got candid reactions from viewers. Posting the footage on Instagram, he said, “Simply decided to wear the killer mask and chat with people coming out of Housefull 5 at Bandra today. Almost got caught but escaped before that. Fun times!”
