Half Girlfriend has become one of the most enticing films of the year starring Shraddha Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor. As far as the distribution rights of the movie is concerned, it’s bagged by Narendra Hirawat and company. The movie is directed by Mohit Suri and will be based on the book by well known author Chetan Bhagat.

He pointed out that Begum Jaan had an entirely different but strong content which had to be distributed to lesser but mature audiences. And that’s the reason why they limited the number of screens up to 955. However, in case of Half Girlfriend, they enhanced the number of screens to 2500.

The name of the movie- Half Girlfriend happens to be the adaptation from a novel by Chetan Bhagat. The lead roles in the film are played by Arjun Kapoor (Madhav Jha) and Shraddha Kapoor (Riya Somani). Well, the movie is set against the backdrop of as many as 3 distinct worlds of Patna, Delhi and New York.
