Noor box office collection day 1 seems to have fallen down with a low occupancy rate. The film takes a slow start with the highest occupancy rates in the morning shows only. On the other hand, Raveena Tandon’s Maatr (also released on April 21, 2017) failed to register any kind of occupancy in the morning shows.

Both Sonakshi Sinha and Raveena Tandon’s films have been released this Friday and continue to receive mixed reviews. As you know, Sonakshi plays the role of a journalist in the film, she has a lot of expectations from the film. But on the basis of the mixed reviews, it looks like the film has failed to create a buzz.

Coming back to the Noor box office collection day 1, we can say that ever since the film was screened in theatres, it witnessed a slow start by registering a low occupancy rate in the morning shows. By looking at the trends from here, it seems the film will have to do a lot of hard work to attain a place among people’s hearts. But for now, it looks like the film miserably failed to attract the audience to theatres.

Sonakshi Sinha was last seen in Akira before Noor, displaying another memorable woman-centric role in the film. Akira was directed by AR Murugados that was released on September 1, 2016. The film had collected over Rs 5.25 crore on its opening day. Well, there is a difference in both the films. While Akira was made to attract single screen audience, Noor is meant to attract a multiplex crowd. Noor is directed by none other than Sunhil Sippy and also stars Shibani Dandekar and Kanan Gill in its pivotal roles.

Sonakshi Sinha was sharing her views to IANS and praised her character she played in the film. She said that she finds it more comfortable working while the camera rolls. She also explained her inability to work under certain conditions.

Like it’s hard to work under prep mode and also to practice  method acting. While working on the full of her ability, she intends to have a word with the director before taking a shot. Well, all that she described looks so real and relates to each one of our lifestyles somewhere. Isn’t it?

While we’re talking about Noor box office collection day 1, let’s also discuss about Raveena Tandon’s film Maatr that was released this Friday. Well, the film finally released after it faced numerous hurdles from the censor board. Take a look at the film’s official trailer-2.

It was due to a plethora of violence and rape scenes that was screened in the movie. In spite of presenting the original stories of crimes against women in the society, it failed to attract the audience back to the theatres. The movie also stars Divya Jagdale, Alisha Khan, Shalee Goel, Divya Jagdale and Madhur Mittal.
