Do you know why Bollywood actress Ileana D’Cruz who has earned reputation in the industry restricted herself in taking up only a few projects this year? Well, the actress recently put her point forward while narrating a lot of other things.
The reason behind this was because she was afraid of making a mistake while signing a film. And that’s why, she preferred to take up plenty of South projects.
Lesser people know that before Ileana D’Cruz actually made a mark in Bollywood with her debut film Barfi (2012), she had already proved her mettle in the South where she had given hits like Kick, Jalsa and Pokiri (to name a few).
She also stated that she was not happy by looking at the way her career was going. And so, she decided to take up some projects from the South.
This is what she said, “I feel like I could have done a lot more and I want to do a lot more. It is pretty much self-explanatory. It is never too late and I am pushing at it and trying to do the best that I possibly can right now,” Ileana said.
As per the latest Bollywood news, the actress said that she intended to take up lesser projects in Bollywood mainly because she was holding back a lot. This is what she said, “I think I was just unsure. I was unsure of myself, I was unsure of making a mistake or doing the wrong film. It is something that I didn’t really think too much about, when I was working in the South. I just worked. I did so many films and some were great and some were not as good. I think the difference was that in Bollywood, I was just afraid that, ‘Oh, I can’t make a mistake.’”
