Diljit Dosanjh, who received the Best Actor nomination at the 2025 International Emmys for Amar Singh Chamkila, appeared in style at the 53rd awards night in New York City. He was joined on the red carpet by director Imtiaz Ali and members of Netflix.

Bollywood star Diljit Dosanjh made a stylish statement in a cream shirt and shimmery blazer combo, finished with black trousers and a black turban. The International Emmys’ official Instagram spotlighted his appearance.
For the special event, Imtiaz Ali chose to wear an all-black ensemble in which he looked dashing. Soon, he stepped on-to the red carpet and posed with Netflix executives Monika Shergill and Ruchikaa Kapoor Sheikh.
Netflix’s Amar Singh Chamkila is in the running for two significant awards at the 2025 International Emmys, Best TV Movie/Mini-Series and Best Actor for Diljit Dosanjh. He will compete with David Mitchell, Oriol Pla, and Diego Vasquez for the top honour.

Imtiaz Ali’s 2024 biographical drama brings Amar Singh Chamkila’s life to the forefront. Diljit Dosanjh embodies the legendary singer, and Parineeti Chopra stars as his second wife, Amarjot.
The film is backed by Saregama and Window Seat Films, Select Media Holdings LLP, and Mohit Choudhary.
The film’s music is composed by AR Rahman. It opened to rave reviews, with Diljit’s performance earning special recognition. The movie is currently streaming on Netflix.
