It was Bombay High Court that finally granted bail to Aryan Khan and others in a drug case. A case was earlier filed against Aryan Khan for illegal possession and consumption of banned drugs by NCB (Narcotics Control Bureau) that raided a cruise ship on October 2, 2021.

After Shah Rukh Khan’s son was arrested in the alleged drug case, he had to spend almost a month in jail before he was released on bail on October 29.

But now, the same court has passed an order that says there was no signs of conspiracy and nothing was found in WhatsApp chat as well. The order read in detail says no signs of evidence was found between Arbaaz, Aryan and Munmun Dhamecha.

The Bombay HC order has come that clearly states that there was nothing objectionable found in WhatsApp chats between the accused. Earlier, NCB had objected the bail plea of Aryan Khan and stated that a conspiracy was found between the three.

This is what the Bombay HC order read, “There is hardly any positive evidence on record to convince this Court that all the accused persons with common intention agreed to commit unlawful act,”.

“Merely because Aryan Khan, Arbaaz Merchant, and Munmun Dhamecha were travelling in the same cruise, that by itself cannot be a foundation for the charge of conspiracy against them,” the court explained.

In its statement, the court stated that NCB can’t rely on confessional statements recorded by the investigating officer (NCB) as they are not binding.
