Ever since it was speculated that Akshay Kumar’s upcoming films ‘Sooryavanshi‘ and ‘Bell Bottom’ will be released around independence day 2021, the actor has not only denied this but also appreciated the eagerness of fans regarding his films.
Reacting to the eagerness of fans for his upcoming films, Akshay Kumar came forward to clarify the same. In his statement issued on this, Akshay stated that he feels humbled regarding the release of both of his films.
He further said that producers of both the films are expecting to release them in cinemas. At the same time, both the films are not going to release on the same date.
This is what Akshay Kumar stated in his official statement, “I’m humbled at the excitement and eagerness of my fans regarding the release of ‘Sooryavanshi’ and ‘Bell Bottom’, and want to thank them from the bottom of my heart for all their love,” he said.

“However, at this point, it is purely speculative to say that both films will release on Independence Day. The producers of both films are working out the release dates and will make announcements at the right time,’ the actor added.
Since both these films have witnessed delays due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the makers might want to release them on the extended holiday weekend.
As per a report published, most Bollywood stars are going to follow Salman Khan, especially when he decided to release Radhe simultaneously in theaters and on OTT platform.
Sooryavanshi was earlier scheduled for release on March 24, 2020 but was postponed many times due to the ongoing COVID-19 crisis in the country.
This is why Akshay took to his Twitter handle to share about the release of the film. This is what he stated, “We promised you all a cinematic experience and that’s what you will get. The wait is finally over! Aa Rahi Hai Police. #Sooryavanshi releasing worldwide in cinemas on 30th April 2021.” he said.
Likewise, Akshay’s another film Bellbottom was also postponed due to COVID-19 crisis. It was originally scheduled for release on April 2, 2021.
