Abhishek Bachchan, R Balki to Commence Shooting for ‘Ghoomer’ In Dharamshala

As per a news published in Times of India, R Balki and Abhishek Bachchan look all set to commence shooting for their upcoming film ‘Ghoomer’ In Dharamshala.

‘Ghoomer’ is going to be a sports illustrated drama where the remaining part of the shoot will get completed.

The film revolves around a Hungarian right hand shooter Karoly Takacs who is a renowned name in the field of sports.

His name is counted among the brave, especially when he managed to win as many as two Olympic golds with his left hand after his right hand was injured seriously.

Soon after the historic win of Takacs in Olympics held in 1948, Takacs became a household name in the entire Europe.

Earlier, ‘Ghoomer’ was known to be a film other than biopic. But now, it’s clear that it is actually a biopic which revolves around the achievements of Karoly Takacs.

The film gives a view of special sportsperson who have not only conquered their disabilities but also achieved a handful of success in their sports career.

Apart from Abhishek Bachchan, Ghoomer also stars Ivanka Das, Shivendra Singh Dungarpur, Angad Bedi, Shabana Azmi and Saiyami Kher in their respective pivotal roles.

Another speculation about the film says that it has a special appearance of Amitabh Bachchan as well. The shooting of ‘Ghoomer’ has so far been accomplished in locations like Pune, Navi Mumbai and Mumbai.

It was on February 5 when Abhishek shared a post on his Instagram handle announcing his upcoming film ‘Ghoomer’ with a caption that read, “Can’t ask for a better birthday present! Birthdays are best spent, working. घूमर. Now spinning,” it said.
