Film actor Angad Bedi has expressed his desire to work with the evergreen director Karan Johar.
Angad who got married with Neha Dhupia last year is going to feature in his next film opposite Janhvi Kapoor titled Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl.
Speaking to one of the major media houses, the actor revealed that Karan Johar is one name in the industry who is known to make evergreen films.
This is one of the reasons why he is admired so immensely as an established director.

This is what Angad told to the media personal in detail, “Just like any other cowboy, I also like to work with such an established director like Karan Kohar. Personally speaking, I like to find myself quite fortunate to work with him at this point of time. I still believe that once you get projected in the industry, you obviously get showcased as an actor in a Dharma production film. I guess, working with Karan is just like fulfilling your dream in the reality.”
When Bedi was further asked to reply if his main focus is to do movies or to perform on OTT platform, this is what he has to say, “I believe it’s all about how you grab good roles. Therefore, it does not matter which platform I would like to choose. Like, if I’m getting a good role in any of the platforms, I would love to work for that concerned project even if it comes along with a movie or in the form of an OTT platform. If you look in the past, I have got so many great opportunities including Tiger Zinda Hai, Pink, Soorma, The Zoya Factor and now another one titled Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl. So, it all depends on the concerned opportunity that you get whether it is films or OTT.”
“I think as an actor, you need to have a clear picture in your mind about grooming your career which is all possible after you tend to pick a variety of roles and not just sticking on the right platform.
If you look today, actors like Pankaj Tripathi and Rajkumar Rao are going with wide range of roles. Just like them, I have also done Inside Edge on an OTT platform. And so, I would prefer both of these platforms are enough to give you the right exposure,” said Bedi.
Angad was further asked to comment about not following his father and the former cricketer Bishan Singh Bedi’s footsteps.
To this, he replied, “I feel that everyone has to undergo his own life journey. It’s not that I do not follow my father in any way. Yes, I do. Be it what he likes along with his teachings. todaypk
But if films are going to be my destiny, then why would I not accept it? And so, I believe that you need to accept things as they come along your way. Doing films was somewhat I dreamt of from the beginning. The very dream of coming into films has now been fulfilled and I look forward to explore every single role with all the passion.”
“It was my childhood dream to become an actor. From the very beginning, I was fond of watching Amitabh Bachchan movies. Even now, I have all the collection of his films as I liked him the most as an actor. So, I want to say thanks to him to ignite all the passion within me to become an actor,” Angad added.
The actor further stated that he has learnt a lot from his father as well. I told that the best thing that he learnt from being the member of a cricketer family is none other than discipline.
