Vidyut Jammwal also expressed his views about the movie. At the time of an interview with indianexpress, he insisted that in terms of action, Commando 2 is way better than its prequel.

He also said the shooting was not easy for him as he got injured during the third itself. He actually got his ligament teared and had to hospitalized.

The entire unit then thought to wrap the shooting, but the muscular actor turned down their decision and asked for some more days to continue with shooting again.

The muscular actor was then bombarded with lots of questions, including like if he’s under pressure to produce Rs. 100 Crore film like others.

He answered quite swiftly, saying that he’s hired to do his job fearlessly and if the film gets into the 100 Crore mark or not is my producer and director’s problem. For me, I have already done my job fairly well.

Now, talking about Commando 2 box office collection day 1, producer Vipul Shah instead preferred to make people understand about the box office numbers in real terms.

He said a film entering Rs. 100 Crore club doesn’t necessarily mean it earned the same.

In fact, there are movies that announced Rs. 100 Crore business, but actually were losers. Like, if a film is made on a budget of Rs. 120 Crores and earns Rs. 100 Crores, then it’s not a profit in any ways.
