In the biz world, Commando 2 is being compared to Logan (released on March 2, 2017). Logan is a an American movie featuring James Logan and is based on the favorite Marvel Comics character being played by Hugh Jackman, who is reprising the character of Wolverine / Howlett that has already fetched the film with Rs. 4.75 Crores in India.
As per Taran Adarsh tweets on the collection of Logan in India, the film’s Friday collection was Rs. 4.75 Crores in India. He further predicts the movie to do better in the coming days. Now, it’s going to be interesting if Logan overtakes Commando 2 on the second day.

If we look at the Hindi version alone, the film has managed to collect Rs. 4.65 Crores only. However, the figures are still enough to overtake the collections of its prequel that was Rs. 3.69 Crores (4 years back).
The Vidyut Jammwal starrer solely captures his own action hero image and that’s what the movie is all about. However, the story plot revolves around the concept of demonetization and black money.
Commando 2 Box Office Collection till date- Stiff competition with Logan?
While addressing to the media, the star actor said the prequel Commando (released in 2013) managed to perform fairly. But Commando 2 is produced especially for those who’re action lovers. And this is why we tried to raise the barometer for the movie.
He further stated that there is no comparison of Commando with Commando 2 as both the films have been quite different. By looking at the Commando 2 box office collection till date, it seems the film is going under stiff competition with newly released Logan.
Jammwal said both parts of Commando films are like the James Bond series. This is because all parts look different and you can watch them in any order of your preference. Still, Commando 2 is one of the best action films in the recent time. All we tried to surpass what we intended to do in the first part of Commando series.
