Zendaya recently opened up in a playful interview about why she steers clear of dance classes with her boyfriend, Tom Holland.
The ‘Euphoria’ star revealed that Tim Holland’s exceptional dance abilities make her think twice about joining him for a dance lesson. “He’s just too good, and it would frustrate me,” she quipped, mentioning that she would rather dance with someone at a similar skill level.
Tom Holland’s iconic rendition of Rihanna’s “Umbrella” on Lip Sync Battle back in 2017 became a viral hit, showcasing his impressive dance skills.
Reflecting on it during a chat with The Hollywood Reporter, he humorously admitted, “Even with all the roles I’ve taken pride in, it’s that one Lip Sync Battle performance that gets the most recognition.”
Though Zendaya herself is no stranger to dancing, having competed on Dancing with the Stars, she admitted that she’d prefer a dance partner who isn’t quite as skilled as Holland.

Zendaya expressed that she’d love to take a dance class with her 8-year-old niece, calling it a fun idea she’d be up for. “She’d make a great partner, and it would be so much fun,” she said.
As for spending time with Tom Holland, Zendaya leaned more toward a kayaking outing. She pointed out that it requires coordination between partners, which could make for some humorous moments. “Kayaking demands being in sync, which could lead to some funny situations,” she explained. “We’re both pretty headstrong, so figuring out the direction together would definitely be entertaining and memorable.”
