Vijay Milton is not a new name in Kollywood. In fact, he has been there for the last 4 decades. He’s known to have worked in a few memorable films like ‘Goli Soda’ (along with its sequel). He first debuted in the role of a cinematographer during 90’s.
Initially, Milton joined the film industry as a well trained cinematographer. But later, he chose to play the role of a director. As a cinematographer, his first film was ‘Priyamudan’ (1998) directed by Vincent Selva. The film was actually released on June 12, 1998.
At this time when ‘Priyamudan’ has completed 23 years since its release, Vijay Milton remembers his working in the film. Well, this is a special moment for the cinematographer turned director that he shared by posting a short note on Twitter.
In his note, he simply writes how his film managed to turn the industry lights on him. This is what he writes, “this is the movie which turned the industry lights towards me. tnq @DirVincentSelva (sic).”

Along with the note, Milton also shared a poster of the film which is none other than a romantic silver starring Kausalya and Vijay in their pivotal roles. The film is directed by Vijay Milton.
After the film was finally released, it proved a blockbuster hit at the box office. The film managed to leave a huge impact on the movie makers.
It was later decided to release this film in Hindi language under the title ‘Deewana Main Deewana’. It starred Priyanka Chopra and Govinda in their pivotal roles.
On the work front, Vijay Milton will soon be working as a cinematographer in an anthology film titled ‘Kasada Thapara’. The last film that he’s credited to have directed is “Goli Soda 2′(2018).
