Vijay Deverakonda Donates Rs. 1.30 Crore To COVID-19 Relief

After many Bollywood and other personalities offered their help to fight Covid-19, Telugu film star Vijay Deverakonda took to his social media account and announced a monetary help of Rs 1.30 crore to fight against Covid-19.

The donation from Vijay will directly go into the PM relief fund that was originally initiated by the PM himself. Loads of eminent personalities including many others have already contributed to the fund.

The donation from Vijay will help in the purchase of groceries and other daily essentials, especially in the lockdown phase. Not only in Delhi, but the relief operations are being carried out in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh (AP).


In his post, Vijay confirmed that he is already backed by a strong team of health workers and other professionals who constantly work towards the social cause of strengthening the immunity by distributing various essentials among people.

This is what Vijay wrote in his message while contributing towards the PM relief fund, “None of us were prepared for this. But we are fighters. We shall survive this and come out of it strong. This thing hit me hard as w.ell, but I am here now. I am here with my incredible team that never says no to a fight and we are happy to announce a 1.30 cr fund to help as many as we can. All we need is some Love, Kindness and support and I am Sending you all, my love and strength (sic).”

Regarding the professional front, the upcoming project of Vijay is going to be Master to be directed by none other than Lokesh Kanagaraj. In this film,he is bound to play the role of an antagonist.
