Later in the event, a video started going viral showing the performance of Varun Dhawan on the stage. In the video clip, Varun can be seen lifting Gigi Hadid on stage.

As soon as the clip surfaced, it garnered a lot of attention on social media. From here, Varun started getting trolled and also made responsible for misbehaving with the American supermodel.

This is what one of the trolls said, “If you are a woman, you are not safe anywhere with anyone. Even if you are Gigi Hadid, invited to a party with an “elite” crowd, guys like Varun Dhawan will randomly pick you up and kiss you without your consent, all in the name of fUn. Disgusting.”
