About Turbo
Directed by Vysakh, Turbo is an action-packed film starring Mammootty in the lead role. The screenplay has been penned by Midhun Manuel Thomas.
This marks the third collaboration between Mammootty and Vysakh, following their successful films Pokkiri Raja and Madhura Raja. The movie also marks the debut of Kannada actor Raj B Shetty, portraying the antagonist role.
Turbo was produced with a huge budget of Rs 70 crores. According to a review by Times Now, the cinematography by Vishnu Sarma and editing by Shameer Muhammed enhance the film’s visual appeal and pacing, while Mammootty delivers a standout performance.
The music by Christo Xavier adds depth to the action sequences. However, despite the screenplay by Midhun Manuel Thomas and strong technical elements, Turbo falls short in terms of originality.
While the film is enjoyable, it may not leave a lasting impact beyond its well-executed set pieces and moments tailored for Mammootty.
